FAQ

Questions before requesting a WordPress fix.

Clear answers about pricing, timing, website access, scope, and what happens after you submit your issue.

How does the One-Time WordPress Fix work?

Submit your website URL and describe the issue. We review whether it fits the One-Time Fix service, then confirm the proposed scope, price, and expected timing. Work begins after you approve the scope. Once the fix is applied, we test the affected area and send you a completion summary.

What does “starting at $49” include?

The starting price applies to a simple, clearly defined WordPress issue that requires limited investigation and a focused change. The final price depends on the complexity of the problem, the access required, and the work needed to resolve it. We confirm the price before making changes.

How long will the fix take?

The timing depends on the issue and how much investigation is required. Some clearly defined problems can be resolved during a short working session, while more complex issues may take longer. After reviewing your request, we provide a realistic expected timeframe with the proposed scope.

What information should I include in my request?

Include your website URL, the affected page or feature, what you expected to happen, what is happening instead, and any visible error message. It also helps to mention when the issue started and whether a plugin, theme, or WordPress update was made shortly before it appeared.

Do I need to send my WordPress or hosting password?

No. Do not include passwords in your initial request. We first review the issue using the information you provide. If access is needed, we explain exactly what level of access is required and how to provide it securely. When possible, we recommend creating a temporary account that can be removed after the work is completed.

What is not included in a one-time fix?

A complete website redesign, new custom functionality, extensive custom development, multiple unrelated tasks, ongoing maintenance, and larger security recovery projects usually require a separate scope. If your request is larger than a one-time fix, we explain why and recommend the most appropriate next step.

Can you remove malware through this service?

Malware infections normally require a broader security process, including scanning, cleanup, checking affected files, removing malicious access, and reviewing how the website was compromised. These cases are handled through our WordPress Malware Removal service rather than as a standard one-time fix.

Will you explain what was fixed?

Yes. After the work is completed, we explain what was changed and confirm that the affected page or functionality was tested. When useful, the summary may also include brief notes, screenshots, or a short recording that helps you understand the solution and any recommended next step.

Do you provide ongoing WordPress support?

Yes. If you need regular updates, backups, security checks, troubleshooting, or ongoing website improvements, you can move from a one-time fix to one of our WordPress maintenance plans . We can recommend the appropriate option based on your website and the level of support you need.
